Painting done, refresh on the way...

We are excited to have the painting project behind us. Yes we realize the Youth House did not get painted. That will probably be a project put off until the consistent good weather returns. The youth house will eventually be painted. However, the big paint concerns have been addressed.

The next project is the freshening up of the Fellowship Hall, back entry ways and the main floor bathrooms! We do not have an exact timetable as of right now. However, know that we have locked in some contractors and are working towards starting the project! Mark Speelman is running point on this project. Bob Herndon from the Grace CC council and Chuck Baker from the Grace CC Elders are also providing guidance and leadership. Look for changes to be coming soon!

Pray for change!

October 31 starts the holiday season with one of the more (in my opinion) lackluster holidays, Halloween. However, what this holiday does present is the start of many opportunities for outreach! Whether its our Kid's Harvest Town event (Friday October 29), Thanksgiving, Christmas or even New Years, the Holiday season for the church should be a season of evangelism! People are in the festive spirit. They are a little more open and jovial. However, at the heart of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years is the gospel message. We can be thankful for the blessings we have in Christ. We were blessed with a Savior on Christmas. New Years gives us a chance to start over and make significant changes in our lives. This year, as we approach the Holiday Season, pray for change in the lives of those around you. Also pray that God would open doors for you to be an instrument of that change!

Fall at Grace...

I hope you all have considered plugging in somewhere at Grace! There are many fantastic opportunities to serve and connect. If you have not joined a LIFE Group, we would encourage you to. They are smaller groups of believers that meet around Dallas on Wednesdays and Thursdays. For a full list of LIFE Groups check out our website page:

Pictorial Directory Postponed

Hello Church Family,
As many of you know we have been working on a new Pictorial Directory. Due to some staffing changes, as well as the kickoff to our fall ministries, the directory project has been postponed. We will pursue it again in the near future.

Grace CC Building Projects

Hello Church Family,
You may have noticed at church last Sunday that there are some big projects going on with regards to the facilities of Grace. Here is an update on what is taking place.

The beams holding up the roof on the outside of the entryways have rotted out. Therefore, on each side a beam is being replaced and a beam is being reinforced.

The outside of the building has been pressure washed and is being prepped to paint! Painting should start in early September!

The fellowship hall and bathrooms will be getting a face lift. We have been running ministries non-stop in our fellowship hall and both it and the men's and women's restrooms have needed servicing for quite sometime. Help is coming soon!

That's all for now. Check back for more info later!
